In the quest for a sustainable connector for the sieve machines, AMKCO connected with Vlint in 2013. The BFM fitting proved to be the ideal flexible connection, contributing to the foundation of the quality AMKCO delivers. The excellent sealing properties of BFM fittings prevent leaks, product loss, contamination, and product buildup. BFM fittings are 100% airtight and explosion-resistant, ensuring safety and reliability in the production process and the quality of the end product.
This not only enhances the overall quality and reliability of AMKCO's sieve machines but also strengthens their reputation and customer trust. The purchase of BFM adapters marked the beginning of a 10-year supplier-customer relationship between Vlint and AMKCO.
From supplier-customer relationship to deeper engagement
According to Jeroen, doing business goes beyond selling products; pursuing shared goals that benefit both parties is crucial. "Vlint is flexible, we move and think along with our partners. You can only do that well when you show interest and actively take steps together."
This commitment led to mutual company visits in early 2023, providing Jeroen and Johan with insights into each other's organizations and processes. Reduced delivery time for Anti-foaming Bags with a private label to one day
During the tour at AMKCO, Jeroen and Johan collaborated on a solution to shorten delivery times. For treatment of whey in the cheese industry, one of the many applications of AMKCO's machines, filter bags are used to prevent foam formation. Johan of AMKCO refers to these as Anti-foaming Bags. A halted end-user process costs a significant amount of money. To ensure continuous operation, a quick supply of spare parts is crucial.
Vlint produces the new custom-made AMKCO Anti-foaming Bags in its own factory and provides them with a private label. This means that the filter bags are personalized with the logo and name of AMKCO, enhancing brand recognition. By maintaining a minimal stock, we can ensure that delivery times do not hinder operations, allowing AMKCO to promptly serve end-users.
The result? The delivery time is one day, enabling AMKCO to meet the needs of their customers promptly.

Cleaner working environment and cost savings
In the finishing of sieve decks, where fine dust is released through sanding, Jeroen identified room for improvement. By implementing Vlint's panel filters in the extraction system, AMKCO achieved several benefits. These filters are not only quickly available but also more compact and robust. Air quality measurements at AMKCO confirmed an extended lifespan. Despite this, Johan chooses to replace the filters more frequently.
"We deliberately choose to replace the filters more often, resulting in an even cleaner working environment. The fact that the filters are competitively priced makes it a win-win situation."

Currently, Jeroen and Johan are actively exploring the possibilities and benefits of BFM Blanking Caps for AMKCO's sieve machines. These closure caps offer complete transparency in the process, ideal when visibility of the product flow is required. The Blanking Caps, made of strong seeflex material, are not only easy to install without the need for tools but also quickly replaceable. Additionally, they ensure a 100% airtight seal without leakage, resulting in improved efficiency and safety while preventing contamination. Overall, the Blanking Caps offer a more hygienic solution than traditional rubber closure caps.
With this expansion, AMKCO can flexibly address market challenges by finding innovative solutions for the use of vibrating sieve machines without making significant structural changes to the machines.
