BFM Adapters
The BFM Adapter from Vlint is a steel ring in which a BFM Sleeve is placed. This combination is called a BFM fitting system. The combination of BFM Adapters and Sleeves is designed to fit perfectly together. This makes them 100% airtight and prevents any product leakage. Thanks to the BFM fitting system, sleeves with traditional hose clamps are no longer necessary.
What are the benefits of BFM Adapters?
BFM Adapters provide a reliable solution for an optimal and leak-free production process, with hygiene and reliability at the forefront. Made from high-quality materials such as T304L and T316L stainless steel, they guarantee a long lifespan and perfect corrosion resistance. These adapters are ideal for hygienic environments, such as the food and pharmaceutical industries. They are developed for a super-fast and easy installation of sleeves, making them both practical and efficient in use. It is an ideal solution for environments where high demands on hygiene and reliability are placed.
The application areas of BFM Adapters
Vlint's BFM Adapters come in two variants: the standard Adapter and the Lipped Adapter. The standard adapter must be welded to piping, while the Lipped Adapter is compatible with modular piping systems like JACOB. The Adapters are available in hastelloy c22, stainless steel 304, and stainless steel 316. Moreover, they are available in exact sizes from Ø 100mm to Ø 1650mm, ensuring a perfect fit with the BFM Sleeve. The Adapter can be easily shortened or cut at an angle to fit well with existing pipes and piping. For situations with a risk of static charge, such as with wood dust, flour, or milk powder, we recommend using an anti-static wire to connect the two BFM Adapters.
