Sustainable solutions for a green future

The sustainable choices that people and businesses are making right now are contributing to a better and greener world. For example, Vlint recently fitted the roof with 850 solar panels to provide green power to the entire building and the new electric vehicle fleet. We would love to tell you more about our green initiatives!

The electric vehicle fleet in Lelystad

At Vlint, we believe that clean air is essential, both for the health of people and for the processes in our company. For this reason, we decided to switch our vehicle fleet entirely to electric cars. This switch has allowed us to reduce CO2 emissions per car by up to 60% compared to a fossil fuel car.

850 solar panels for green power/h2>

In 2012, we built a new building in Lelystad which immediately included a ground source heat pump and triple glazing. In addition to these green modifications, 850 solar panels were recently installed on the roof of our premises. By placing these solar panels we are completely self-sufficient and energy-neutral. The electricity generated can power the building and the cars, but also our production process, warehouse and office now run completely on green power as a result.
